2.4 GPS Retransmission Antennas

The retransmission antennas receive the L1/L2 GPS signals from the GPS SC and transmit the GPS Signal in

the cargo compartment of the host aircraft.

The retransmission antennas also include custom circuitry to enable the SC to monitor the operational status of

the individual antennas.

2.5 Signal Conditioner Output Terminators

In smaller aircraft, all of the SC retransmission channels are not required. When output channels are not used,

the unused outputs must be terminated so as to avoid false BIT indications. The GLI-COBRA GPS

Retransmission Kit includes the output terminators (already installed) for this purpose.
